Five individuals who admitted to using illegal drugs voluntarily surrendered last July 11 to Vice Mayor Julier Resuello. These people signed the agreement and promised to support and cooperate with the police to locate other suspected drug pushers and users. According to the Police Superintendent Arnold Solomon, Officer in Charge in San Carlos Police Station, these people voluntarily surrendered themselves after the police did the “Oplan Katok” to all the houses of the people who are suspected to be using illegal drugs. PNP also clears that these individuals will be monitored whether they are following the signed agreement or not. For now there are already 57 individuals who are arrested at the said city, but still expected to increase in the following days.
