By: Patricia Baguio This is what my mom always tells us that in all sickness in life we will be through, laughter will be the best medicine. I do believe in her because she’s a nurse, and I deeply agree with her as I go along with this journey of life.
As she as a nurse, believes that no medication can cure any sickness without positive mind and heart. Though we’re not feeling any illness, my mom reminds us this for us to be an optimistic person. She never let us leave without putting a single smile on our faces, she’s making sure that she’s the reason of the first happiness that we’ll ever feel of the day, and this scenario turned to be our daily routine. Sadness is not allowed in our family, and perhaps this is the reason why I grew up as a person that full of positivity. I know how to accept rejections because I know that there is a positive reason why I didn’t get what I want. I fail my subjects, it’s okay because I know that I gave my best and the result wouldn’t change if I will think that I am a failure. There will always be tomorrow to come for me to get up and do better. The positivity that I possess, though everything is falling into pieces, is what many people envies about me, and which I told them not to envy because we all have this in our hearts, they didn’t just let it out. I don’t want to see people sad, and all I want is happiness and joy. So, every day that I leave home, I am making sure that I have this joke that I will crack because I don’t want the day pass without seeing my friends and people around me, smile and laughs.
