Well if you do then Fan Fiction just might be the solution!
First off, what is Fan fiction? Fan Fiction or Fanfiction or simply Fanfic is a fiction story from popular works (i.e. Books or Movies, etc), either its characters or its setting, written by fans instead of the real creators. It is very popular, especially since the dawn of the Internet. Fanfictions may or may not infringe on the copyright of the original creators, depending upon the situation, and rarely get professionally published. Fanfiction is very popular on the internet. The most popular websites for it is Fanfiction.net. If you would like to browse these sites and get acquainted with its contents, there are some steps and terms you must first learn. Fanfiction can be anything, any genre, any character and any situation. It has plenty of categories; the most popular are the Harry Potter Series (745K stories) and the Twilight Saga (218K stories) for the Books category and Star Wars (40.3K Stories) and Avengers (35.9K stories) for Movies, it also features Anime, Comics, Cartoons, TV Shows, etc. Once you have picked a category, you are able to filter it with the following subcategories:
*in case you are wondering, Reviews are comments that you may leave a story. Favorites and Follows work the same way as in Social Media.
Now that the category you chose has been filtered, it is time to learn the lingo or terms used within the FanFiction community. Like all fandoms and communities Fanfiction has plenty of terms, so I will tell you the basic ones and the rest you shall learn as you go.
As you can see, the Fanfiction community is well developed and anyone can join in, either as a writer or a reader. Enjoy the freedom of Online Publishing and let your imaginations run free because a story doesn’t necessarily end at the ending of its book.
